Itinerary

6 Night -7 Days

Day 1: Cochin → Munnar

Upon arrival at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, you will be transferred to your hotel in Munnar for check-in. After freshening up, begin your scenic drive to explore the beautiful landscapes along the way, including stops at Valara Waterfalls and Cheeyappara Waterfalls. The rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy at leisure. Spend a delightful overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park (15 km) to spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (Note: Park is closed from 1st February to 15th April). Explore the Tea Museum (3 km) and Tea Factory (Closed on Mondays and Good Friday), Rose Garden, Blossom Hydel Park, Mattupetty Dam (13 km), Echo Point, and Kundala Lake (28 km). After freshening up at your hotel, return to enjoy the evening and spend an overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar → Thekkady

After breakfast and hotel checkout, drive to Thekkady. On the way, visit a Spice Plantation to experience Kerala’s aromatic spices. Upon arrival, you may opt for Periyar Lake boating to explore the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary (advance booking recommended). In the evening, enjoy optional activities such as Kathakali shows, elephant rides, elephant baths, musical fountains, or Ayurvedic massages. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 4: Thekkady → Alleppey

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey, the land of tranquil backwaters. Upon arrival, visit Alleppey Beach and the Alleppey Lighthouse Museum to enjoy the coastal beauty and cultural heritage. Later, check in to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay in Alleppey Hotel.

Day 5: Alleppey → Kovalam

After breakfast, drive to Kovalam. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and proceed for sightseeing. Visit the Lighthouse Beach and the scenic Hawa Beach, enjoying the sun, sand, and coastal views. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 6: Kovalam → Thiruvananthapuram Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala. Visit major attractions such as the Napier Museum, Sree Chitra Art Gallery, Science and Technology Museum, and the Zoo & Natural History Museum. Also visit the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, a 16th-century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and if time permits, Pazhavangadi Ganapati Temple and Attukal Devi Temple. Return to your hotel in Kovalam for an overnight stay.

Note: All monuments and museums are closed on Mondays and public holidays (Visiting hours: 1:00 PM – 4:45 PM).

Day 7: Departure from Thiruvananthapuram

After breakfast and checkout, you will be transferred to Thiruvananthapuram Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Depart with sweet memories of your Kerala tour.
