ITINERARY

6 Night/7 Days

Day 01: Arrival at Hampi

Arrive in Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire for over 200 years. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and freshen up. Later, begin sightseeing with visits to the iconic Vithala Temple, Virupaksha Temple dedicated to Lord Virupaksha, Hazara Rama Temple, Achyuta Raya Temple, and the Archaeological Museum, which showcases relics from the Vijayanagara period. After sightseeing, return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Hampi.

Day 02: Hampi – Badami

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Badami, an ancient town set amidst dramatic sandstone cliffs overlooking the serene Agastya Lake. Explore the famous Badami Cave Temples, known for their exquisite rock-cut architecture, along with other structural monuments. Visit the Archaeological Museum to learn about the region’s rich Chalukyan heritage. Check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Badami.

Day 03: Badami – Gokarna

After breakfast, proceed to Gokarna, a sacred coastal town known for its ancient temples and pristine beaches. On arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. Later, visit the revered Mahabaleshwar Temple, followed by leisure time at Gokarna Beach, Om Beach, and Kudle Beach, each offering a peaceful seaside atmosphere. Overnight stay in Gokarna.

Day 04: Gokarna Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to Kudle Beach, enjoying panoramic views of the coastline. Continue to Om Beach, famous for its natural Om-shaped formation. An optional visit to Paradise Beach, accessible via a short trek or boat ride, can be included. Later, explore the historic Mirjan Fort, admired for its impressive laterite architecture. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Gokarna.

Day 05: Gokarna – Murudeshwar

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Murudeshwar. Visit the renowned Murudeshwar Temple, home to the world’s second-tallest statue of Lord Shiva, and enjoy panoramic views from the temple complex. Spend leisure time at Murudeshwar Beach, soaking in the serene coastal surroundings. Check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Murudeshwar.

Day 06: Murudeshwar – Udupi

After breakfast, proceed to Udupi, a well-known temple town near Mangalore. Visit the famous Sri Krishna Temple, the spiritual heart of Udupi. Later, explore Malpe Beach, an ideal picnic spot with a wide shoreline. Optional visits include Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Vijayanath Shenoy’s Heritage House to experience local culture. Check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Udupi.

Day 07: Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the nearest Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying wonderful memories of your Karnataka heritage and coastal tour.
